WILKES-BARRE – After leading the King’s College softball team to the 2009 Freedom Conference championship and an NCAA Division III national tournament berth, Lady Monarch standouts Meaghan Galvin (Washingtonville, NY/John S. Burke) and Lindsey Hoerner (Annville/Northern Lebanon) have been named to the 2009 Eastern College Athletic Conference Southern Region All-Star Team as second-team selections.

WILKES-BARRE – The King’s College athletic department honored its graduating student-athletes at the eighth-annual Senior Sports Luncheon Saturday at the Sheehy-Farmer Student Center. Seniors from 13 sports were recognized and honored with a senior gift to commemorate their athletic careers at King’s.

WILKES-BARRE – The King’s College athletic department will honor 57 student-athletes for their dedication and efforts when the annual Senior Awards Luncheon is held Saturday, May 16 at 12:00 noon in the Sheehy-Farmer Student Center. The event is part of the 2009 Commencement Weekend as King’s holds graduation on Sunday, May 17 at the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre.
