KING’S WOMEN’S X.C. 8TH AT DESALES INVITATIONAL
CENTER VALLEY – Molly Brown placed 24th among 221 finishers to power the King’s College women’s cross country team to a eight-place finish among 25 teams at the DeSales University Invitational Saturday in Center Valley.
Leading for the Lady Monarchs was Brown who ran a 25:04 in the 6,000 meter run. Tori Posatko came in 31st for the Lady Monarchs at 25:14. Heather Elphick checked in at 44th with a 25:36 while Shannon McGowan was 64th with a 26:08.
Kirstie Nicol crossed the line in 113th with a 27:44 while Madeline Schiminger was 120th at 28:03. Hanna Bestwick finished 161st at 29:50 while Hannah Eckles rounded out the King’s women at 35:56 to come in 209th.
King’s will return to action Saturday, October 24 when Elizabethtown College hosts the Battle for the Buggy Invitational.
