KING’S SWIMMERS FALL TO MISERICORDIA

DALLAS - - The King’s College swimming teams dropped their respective decisions to host Misericordia University Tuesday in the Anderson Sports-Health Center. The Lady Monarchs fell by 107-60 count while the men’s squad dropped a 92-27 decision.
For the men Matthew Lysy won the 100 freestyle at 1:06.50. Eric Stencovage and Caleb Farrell finished in first and second place in the 100 yard breaststroke, with Stencovage finishing at 1:07.92 while Farrel finished with a time of 1:16.29.
For the women, Maggie Nealer won the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:45.40 as well as in the 100 breaststroke at 1:23.65. Rebecca Smith won the 500 yard freestyle at 5:59.11 and was third in the 200 freestyle at 2:15.83. Susan Hughes placed second in the 500 yard freestyle at 6:22.02 whie Krystina Homanko finished second in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:27.91. Carissa Cook placed third in the 50 yard freestyle with a 29.30 as well as in the 200 yard butterfly at 1:12.23. Amanda Casey finished third in the 100 yard backstroke with a 1:12.01 time.
