WOMEN'S TENNIS EDGES WEBBER INTERNATIONAL 5-4
Babson, Fla. – The King's College women's tennis team (9-8) edged Webber International (2-6) by the score of 5-4 in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday.
The team won three singles matches to go along with two doubles contest.
Jillian Tallarico defeated Kammie Bilardello in number-one singles by the score of 6-4, 6-2. Tallarico later teamed with
Diana Darby to take on the team of Bilardello and Alek Milosevska to pick up the 8-6 victory.
In a thrilling three set number-two singles match
Christy Rossowski defeated Yini Esqulin by score of 6-4, 7-6 (7-0). Rossowski then teamed with
Maria Cometa to pick-up a 8-3 victory over Kathryn Pace and Jeanette Hicks. Webber International was able to pick up a victory in the number-three singles flight, before
Jennifer Bader defeated Jeanette Hicks 6-0, 6-4 in the fourth singles slot. Bader then teamed with
Cynthia Darby to drop a 9-7 decision to Yini Esquilin/Nancy Xiong
