KING’S WOMEN’S LAXERS FALL TO MANHATTANVILLE, 19-8
WILKES-BARRE -- Cassie Kovac scored five goals and added an assist to lead the Manhattanville College women’s lacrosse team to a 19-8 victory over host King’s College Tuesday at McCarthy Stadium.
With the win, Manhattanville improved to 8-4 overall and 4-4 in the MAC while King’s fell to 0-11 and 0-7 in league games.
King’s was paced by Taylor Tyne with three goals while Sarah O’Doherty added a pair for the Lady Monarchs. Sierra Coleman, Danielle Terracciano, and Allison Gourniak chipped in with one goal each for King’s. Chrissy Keenan made eight saves in goal for the Lady Monarchs.
King’s will host Scranton Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium.
