King's Women's Lacrosse Falls to Messiah in Final Game of 2009

KING'S WOMEN'S LACROSSE DROPS SEASON FINALE TO MESSIAH
 
WILKES-BARRE Rachel Dirksen and Nikki Lawrence scored three goals each to lead the visiting Messiah College women's lacrosse team to a 17-1 victory over host King's College Saturday at McCarthy Stadium.

With the win, Messiah improved to 12-4 overall and 10-1 in the MAC while King's finished its season at 0-15 and 0-1 in the MAC.

Allison Gourniak scored the lone goal for King's while Sierra Coleman, Stephanie Wilde, and Sarah O'Doherty snagged three groundballs each.  Chrissy Kennan made five goals in net for the Lady Monarchs.
