KING'S WRESTERS TALLY 42-3 WIN OVER MUHLENBERG
ALLENTOWN - The King's College wrestling team jumped out to a 30-0 lead, winning the first eight matches en route to a 42-3 victory over host Muhenberg College Thursday in Allentown. With the win, the Monarchs improved to 11-8 on the year.
The Monarchs posted three pins in the match, including Dave Foley (174), Peter Dwyer (197) and Chris Rash (285). King's also received major decisions from Tony Miele (133), Chris Puorro (149), and Jerry Robbins (165). The Monarchs also received decision victories from Frankie Davis (141) and Taylor Green (157). Mike Tabasco also picked up a forfeit at 125.
The Monarchs will next travel to Providence, RI on Saturday to compete in a quad meet with York College, New York University, and host Rhode Island College.
