WILKES-BARRE-- Behind a pair of shutouts, King's College men's soccer standout Mark Labbadia was named the Freedom Conference "Goalie/Defender of the Week" the Middle Atlantic Conferneces Office announced Tuesday.

Labbidia picked up his first career shutout in just his second career start making four saves against Marywood. The Monarchs picked up a 2-0 win.

He followed that up with nine saves inculding three saves in overtime to help the Monarchs play to a 0-0 tie with Dickinson despite being out shot 24-8.

Labbadia and the Monarchs will host Baptist Bible College Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Mccarthy Stadium in the Betzler Athletic Complex.
