King's Men's Tennis Lands Four Players on All-Freedom Conference Squad
Annville, Pa. – The King's men's tennis team placed four players on the All-Freedom Conference team.
Tony Bevevino and
Jake Rohring were named to the first-team.
Bobby Buttafogo eaned a second team selection while
Chris DiMino was tabbed as an honorable mention selection.
Bevevino makes his second appearance on the All-Freedom Conference squad after earning second-team honors a year ago. He stepped into the top flight singles position and posted a 13-6 overall record and a 5-1 mark in Freedom Conference play.
Rohring earned his first selection to the all-conference team after going 10-9 on the season and posting an 8-6 mark in second flight singles and a perfect 5-0 mark in Freedom Conference play. Rohring teamed with Bevevino to form King's top doubles team going 12-7 overall and 4-1 in league play.
Buttafogo earned his way on to the all-conference squad going 9-5 overall and 3-1in league play. He went 8-4 playing number three singles and played to a 6-7 record in doubles competition.
DiMino was an honorable mention pick after posting a 15-7 overall record and a 5-1 mark in Freedom Conference matches. He was 9-6 at fourth flight singles and went 10-9 in double competition playing mostly in the second flight.
