MIDDLE ATLANTIC CONFERENCE NAME SEVEN MONARCHS TO 2017 FALL SPORTSMANSHIP TEAMS

ANNVILLE, PA – Seven King's College student-athletes were named to the 2017 Middle Atlantic Conference Fall Sportsmanship Teams, the conference office announced on Thursday.

The MAC Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify great character and demonstrate the act of sportsmanship both on and off the field. These student-athletes were selected by the head coaches of their respective teams. They represent their team, institution and the conference with high integrity, and exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches and opponents.

The seven King's student-athletes to receive the honor were:
Men's Cross Country: freshman Daniel Michels
Women's Cross Country: junior Tara Weitz
Field Hockey: senior Symantha Sharon
Football: senior Tyler Marroni
Men's Soccer: junior Zach Wolcott
Women's Soccer: junior Andrea Galvin
Volleyball: junior Jill Korgeski
